Bennett & Friends catered for our Cotswolds wedding at Mickleton Hills Farm a few weeks ago and we were absolutely delighted with the service they provided. They were a joy to deal with throughout the planning stages and were creative and accommodating whilst we were choosing our menu. On the day, the service was brilliant and the food was delicious. All of our guests with special dietary requirements were well looked after and the waiters and waitresses were friendly and efficient. We would highly recommend Sam and his team for any wedding or special event, thank you!

We were incredibly impressed with your catering for our daughter’s wedding from start to finish. On reflection, we realise what a ‘big ask’ it was, especially with only 11 days’ notice and the vast distance between the 3 venues on the property. You and your team really pulled out all the stops!

Starting in the meet and greet marquee, you and the team made sure all was perfect with the tea, coffee and delicious individual little cakes, notwithstanding the electricity challenges.

And then in The Barn the canapes were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We’re not sure how you managed to plate the canapes, pour the bubbles and G&T’s and serve everyone really fast, all from the limited facilities available in The Barn.

The Wedding Breakfast in the main marquee. Honestly, we were completely blown away with your menu. Incredibly well thought out, prepared and absolutely delicious. Everyone commented that all their meals were superb and of the best catered function meal that they had ever had. Literally, all our 115 guests commented. Again, you managed all of this from a ‘tent kitchen’. And managed to serve all the small ones a great fish and chips supper as well. The food service and clearing was outstanding. The front of house, superb. Not a meal incorrectly placed in front of a guest. And to top it all, none of your team lost their smiles or accommodating attitude. Amazing!

The Sunday brunch was incredible. The smell of the newly baked pastries and the bacon and eggs! Wow! Again, all from the ‘tent kitchen’.

So, to sum it all up: It was a massive ask, but you and your Team excelled yourselves beyond our wildest expectations.

A very important occasion was amply catered for, top quality ingredients excellently prepared, a particular highlight the freshly-assembled canapes.

Two ladies served during the evening, contributing to a marvellous occasion.

A great business providing wonderful service from enquiry to delivery and real value for money.

We would certainly use their services again.

Sam and his team did another amazing job catering a large charity gala event for 200 at the London Library. This was the 3rd time we’ve worked with Bennett & Friends and from the start planning the event to finish Sam was so helpful , calm and brilliant. He went out of his way to help us and make our event a success. The best in the business, whilst being very affordable. Would highly recommend!

The best caterers in the city! Incredible service from start to end, beautifully polite staff and special shout out to Jake for being such a personable and thoughtful person and for being a perfect face and representative of this wonderfully talented and brilliant team. With the help of the team listening to our ideas we decided on hot and cold mezze with barbecued meats and a selection of salads of. It all suited our venue and time of year.

Sam and the team were fantastic, managing the details and navigating any challenges, putting us at ease and allowing us to simply enjoy our day.

The food was delicious and presented so beautifully! The beef was cooked to perfection and thanks so much for coming round to offer more. All the sides were so good & went so well with the beef. We absolutely love the duck filo canapé, may have had more than my fair share of those!

The staff were also so lovely and made sure to check in with Jamie and I often to make sure we had everything we needed!

We were so lucky to have Sam and his team cater for our wedding in July 2023. Both me and my (now) husband are both massive foodies so really wanted to have the various food offerings throughout our day to be absolutely spot on – and Sam made sure this was the case. Bennett  & Friends used all local suppliers so we got the freshest of ingredients and in a way supported the local greengrocer, deli, butcher etc. The canapes were delicious and generous and presented on Sam’s slate boards which worked perfectly. We had a sharing menu for the 130 person wedding feast and it was absolutely incredible – again delicious and plentiful. They were really accommodating with our dessert requests – they arranged us a tiered cheese display for our alternative to wedding cake, the brownies and the lemon tarts were mindblowing. Sam was super thoughtful and kept aside a platter of cheese and dessert for us as we had to rush off for photos and we got to enjoy them after all the guests had left. The evening food was a no-brainer – Toke’s Deli sausage rolls and samosas were perfect and again, Sam judged the catering numbers perfectly so there was hardly any leftovers.

Sam as a person is lovely – very patient (even when we were very indecisive), eager to provide the best service possible, incredibly knowledgeable and clearly very experienced! He was a great person to be liaising with in the stressful lead up to the big day as he was always calm and collected. His team were excellent too – everyone was attentive, friendly and proactive – an absolute pleasure to interact with and also very professional when it came to accommodating allergies. Bennett & Friends came highly recommended by our venue (Mickleton Hills Farm) but I had no idea how great the food and service would be on the day, so a massive thank you to Sam and his team for being such a big part of our special day. Highly recommended!
